Raised in the Argentine, Dr. Ruppel has become one of the better known recent varieties. Rose red with carmine bar. 6-8" (15-20cm) flowers in May, June and September. Mature height 6-9' (2-3m). Pruning group B1.   This clematis is hardy to zone 3 with multch.  We ship rooted in 2.5 inch pot.
